The optical structure principle of the speculum for intubation and operation is exactly the same as that of the speculum for examination, except that the field of view is smaller than the speculum for examination. The front end of the speculum is equipped with a steering device, which can be raised and lowered freely by installing a controller at the back end: the direction of the ureteral catheter or surgical instruments can be changed freely according to the position of the ureteral opening and the lesion. There are three small metal tubes at the back of the speculum. The two smaller holes on the left and right are used for ureteral intubation, and the larger hole in the middle can be used for inserting various bladder surgical instruments (such as cautery strips, foreign body forceps, biopsy forceps, scissors, etc.). There is a movable partition attached to the speculum for intubation, which can be installed during the intubation examination to prevent the left and right ureteral catheters from interlacing and bending. However, at the time of surgery, it should be removed to expand the cavity and facilitate the accommodation of various surgical instruments.
